AtHoc, BlackBerry's crisis communications software, was named one of the top three cybersecurity/collaboration solutions by France's Trophées de la Sécurité.
Now in its eleventh year, the Trophées de la Sécurité was created to recognize the best security and safety innovations in France, but also to open the debate around the strategic security challenges in a constantly evolving market.
In making its Bronze award, the Trophées de la Sécurité panel praised AtHoc's capabilities to enable organizations to share critical information with one another during a crisis to rapidly resolve emergencies. With AtHoc, organizations can share text, geographical, and multimedia content for informed decision-making while maintaining control over what they send and receive. The result is a secure, collaborative network that increases safety for businesses and communities.
"We are honored to be awarded by Les Trophées de la Sécurité," said Guy Miasnik, president of AtHoc, a division of BlackBerry. "This award demonstrates an important recognition of the innovation needed from the security industry to help customers address their growing security needs. We are a multilingual, multinational solution, and look forward to bringing our networked crisis communication capabilities to French cities and organizations."
